My name is Itzel Godoy, M.S., LMHCA, RMHCI, BSP, and I wear many hats — Mental Health Therapist, Speech Therapist Assistant, Brainspotting Practitioner, Usui Reiki Master, Educator, Mother, Healer, and lifelong student of life. For the past 15 years, I’ve worked in education and therapy, walking beside exceptional education students and families as both a teacher and SLPA.
As an Afro-Latina woman with deep roots in culture and spirit, my journey is as eclectic as I am. I live at the crossroads of psychology, spirituality, and creativity, blending evidence-based counseling with intuitive and soulful practices.
My focus is often on neurodivergence — not only because I’ve dedicated my career to supporting those with unique ways of thinking and being, but because it is also my lived reality. I have ADHD, and I’m raising two brilliant neurodivergent children who inspire me daily to see the world through infinite perspectives.
In my free time, you’ll often find me:
✈️ Traveling with my boys
📚 Curled up with a book
🎮 Gaming or watching movies
💜 Spending quality time with loved ones
More than anything, I cherish the simple moments of connection. I believe every soul who crosses our path is a teacher, and I carry that wisdom into the way I show up as a counselor and guide.
Eclectic, compassionate, rooted, and ever-curious — that’s who I am, and that’s the spirit I bring into the healing spaces I hold.
